Heroes

‘HEROES’ is a schools and communities based program for monitoring changes in temperature, snowfall, rainfall and phenology within the vicinity of selected schools. In total, twenty schools, across different ecological zones of Bhutan are implementing the program. The program will generate data for monitoring and measuring the impacts of climate change on wildlife and plant communities of Bhutan. The program will also enable information on the impacts of climate change to be shared amongst researchers, resource managers, educators and the general public.

The project is funded by the Karuna Foundation in the US through the Bhutan Foundation.

«قهرمانان» برنامه های مبتنی بر مدارس و جوامع برای نظارت بر تغییرات در درجه حرارت، بارش برف، بارش باران و فنولوژی در مجاورت مدارس انتخاب شده است. در مجموع، بیست مدارس، در سراسر مناطق مختلف اقلیمی بوتان در حال اجرای این برنامه است. این برنامه داده ها را برای نظارت و اندازه گیری اثرات تغییرات آب و هوایی بر حیات وحش و گیاهی جوامع بوتان تولید کند. این برنامه همچنین اطلاعات در مورد تاثیر تغییرات آب و هوا را قادر به در میان پژوهشگران، مدیران منابع، مربیان و عموم مردم به اشتراک گذاشته شود.

این پروژه توسط بنیاد کارونا در ایالات متحده از طریق بنیاد بوتان تامین می شود.
